To paint or not to paint
I’m writing this to all those who want to pick up a paintbrush and paint. Don’t let any preconceived notions of what art is, or what painting is, or what it should be, stop you or distract you. Don’t let any ideas about whether or not you would be any good at painting stop you. If you feel like picking up a paintbrush, then do so. I’ll tell you why - because you have been created as a human being with immense potential. In every area of life, and your life, there is an entire wellspring of potential and creativity. Whether it be business, science, the arts, literature, exploration, adventure, or any area of human endeavor, creativity plays a part. We are made to create. We are made to experience life with the right to create, and whatever you create can bring an incredible sense of satisfaction and enjoyment. We need to get away from the false idea that only if others applaud us or validate us, in what we create, does the endeavor become worth something. First and foremost, creating is for you. After that, if it can bless others, that is a bonus. So when you pick up a paintbrush, experience the simple pleasure of putting the color onto the paper. Simply enjoy it!
In the video “Painting an Iris with a lovely Color” I am enjoying the experience.
