All About Color

Have you ever thought about color and its effect on us? Of course you have. We are surrounded by color every day of our lives. We respond to it without even knowing we are responding. For a painter, it plays a crucial part in everything they create. Color can be strong, vivid, overpowering, or domineering in a painting, or it can be subdued, fleeting, suggestive, or almost non-existent. When color is used in a certain way, it can affect the viewer powerfully. It can arouse our emotions and bring out feelings of joy, sadness, and various sentiments.
